St.Paul’s School Belagavi alumni to attempt for Guinness record for Largest school reunion

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.” There is excitement and fear for anyone whose time it is to reunite with former classmates.  For some, it was a horror, others, their prime years. Realistically, I doubt many view high school as the best of times.

One of the Oldest schools in Belagavi, St.Paul’s school was founded by the Jesuits in 1856 in the erstwhile Camp area of Belagavi.

Now the Alumni of the school aims to get their names into the Guinness Book of Records for the largest Reunion Attempt on 17th December 2016.

The Alumni aims to gather as many as 3500 ex students who have passed out from the school on a single day event which will also be the School’s 160 years celebrations.
AN AWARENESS RALLY WILL BE ORGANIZED ON 23.10.2016 AND WILL KICK START FROM ST. PAULS AND WILL END AT CPED GROUND.
Past students and teachers both are trying their best to reach out the alumni so that they can reach that magical figure for the record and at the same time it would be meeting of old friends someone who has passed out in the early 1960’s as well to the latest bunch of pass outs from 2015 batch.
Speaking to AAB, Manoj Michael chief convener of the Paulites of Belgaum Worldwide said,
As this year completes 160 years for the school we all thought it fit to gather together and celebrate the essence of the school which has been inculcated in each Paulite.
The record may happen or may not happen but our aim is to gather and share those old high school memories.
